1. General Information
By commissioning artwork from me, you agree to the terms outlined on this page. Please read them carefully before requesting a commission.
I reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason.
2. Commission Process
- The client submits a commission request through my contact form or email.
- I will review the request and confirm whether I am able to accept the commission.
- Once details are finalized, an invoice or payment request for the first half of compensation will be sent. This first half of compensation is nonrefundable.
- Work will begin after payment is received (unless otherwise agreed).
- Once the work is completed, I will send a watermarked version of the commission for your viewing.
- If the artwork is to your liking, I will request the final half of compensation. Once received, I will remove the watermark and email or ship the final product.
- If the artwork is not to your liking, I will do my best to accommodate, or you may also cancel the order. If canceled, the final half of compensation will be not be required.
Estimated turnaround times will be discussed before the commission begins.
3. Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Payment is required upfront before work begins unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods (via a PayPal link) include:
- PayPal
- Venmo
- Apple Pay
- Debit or Credit Card
If payment is not received within 24 hours of the initial compensation request, the commission request may be cancelled.
4. Revisions
Clients may request up to 2 revisions during the sketch stage.
Minor adjustments may be allowed during later stages at my discretion.
Major changes after approval of the sketch may require an additional fee.
5. Turnaround Time
Estimated completion time is typically one to three weeks, depending on complexity and current workload.
If there are unexpected delays, I will notify the client as soon as possible.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Clients may cancel a commission before work has started for a full refund.
If work has already begun:
- Partial refunds may be issued depending on how much work has been completed.
- Completed commissions are non-refundable.
I reserve the right to cancel a commission and issue a refund if necessary.
7. Copyright & Usage
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- I retain full copyright to the artwork.
- The client receives personal-use rights to the commissioned piece.
Clients may:
- Display the artwork for personal use
- Share the artwork online with proper credit
Clients may not:
- Resell the artwork
- Use it commercially
- Mint it as an NFT
- Claim the artwork as their own
Commercial usage rights must be negotiated separately.
8. Artist Rights
I reserve the right to:
- Display the artwork in my portfolio
- Post the artwork on my website or social media
- Use the artwork for promotional purposes
If you would like your commission to remain private, please discuss this before the commission begins.
9. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide clear reference images and descriptions
- Respond to messages and revision requests in a timely manner
- Ensure they have permission to use any provided reference material
10. Communication
All commission communication will take place through:
- My website contact form
Please allow reasonable time for responses.
11. Agreement
By requesting and paying for a commission, the client confirms they have read and agreed to these terms.
