About her
Cyrille Pollock grew up in a small Minnesota town, graduated with a BA in Creative Writing and English, and struggled socially for most of her life. Writing and art were her way of getting around that, and perhaps still are. But most importantly, her creative endeavors are her way of understanding complex human emotions, the dark side of humanity, and how we can overcome our vices–or the consequences of entertaining them. She primarily creates comic or painterly art, leaning toward a hybrid of cartoonish and semi-realistic styles. Her stories reside within the crime, science fiction, and horror genres, often character-driven and emotionally complex.
She would like to add a note of consideration: a formal education in writing and/or art is not required. The internet and books provide the necessary information needed to become a great writer and/or artist. Anyone can cultivate such skills. The only requirement is passion.
